In March, Mt Welly member Jacob Ryan and his Sacred Heart College team entered the North Island Secondary Schools Waterpolo Championships in Division 2. Jacob captained the team and came away with Gold winning 8-6 in the final against Rosmini College. A week later they also played in the Auckland league of the Secondary School champs and came away with another win (11-5) in the final against Mt Albert Grammar to take two golds in 7 days. Well done Jacob!
